Walker College of Business Director of Graduate Student Services Kim Kirby has been selected as a participant of the Elevate Leadership Development Program at Appalachian State University.
Previously referred to as the HR Leadership Development Program, the program is designed to develop participants' capacity to lead and influence others and provide an opportunity for introspection and growth.
In her current role, Kirby oversees student advising and coordinates career development and enrichment events to strengthen alumni and business networks and increase diversity in the graduate student body. She also serves as the liaison for admissions and recruitment. Kirby is a two-time graduate of Appalachian State University, having earned her B.S. in Computer Information Systems with a minor in International Business in 2007 and an MBA in 2008.
