Walker College professor to serve on editorial board of Issues in Accounting Education

Pennie BagleyAccounting professor Pennie Bagley has been named a member of the editorial advisory and review board for Issues in Accounting Education.

The appointment will last through 2018, according to Issues in Accounting Education Editor Valaria Vendrzyk.

Issues in Accounting Education is one of the three primary publications of the American Accounting Association. The mission of the journal is to publish research, commentaries, and instructional resources that assist accounting faculty in teaching and that examine important issues in accounting education.

Bagley, who is a member of the American Accounting Association, is interested primarily in auditing research, with a particular interest in accountability, affect, and audit education. In addition to having been published in Issues in Accounting Education, Bagley's research has been seen in journals including Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Accounting Horizons, and The CPA Journal.
