Wells Fargo executive advises investors to stay the course in recent Charlotte Observer interview

David Carroll, senior executive vice president of wealth and investment management for Wells Fargo, advises investors to stay the course during volatile times in the market in a recent interview from the Charlotte Observer.

"In the long span of history, volatility is the norm... Our general advice for investors is to not overreact one way or the other, to stay invested," he said. "Don't attempt to time the market or pick a bottom or a top."

Mr. Carroll will be on Appalachian's campus Thursday, March 24, serving as the 57th Boyles CEO Lecturer.
