Alumni celebrate the successful completion of the David A. Thompson Professorship in Applied Investments

Walker College of Business alumni and friends gathered this month to celebrate the successful completion of the David A. Thompson Professorship in Applied Investments at Appalachian State University.

The March 2, 2017 event, held in Charlotte, NC, brought together more than 50 alumni who, as students at Appalachian State University, participated in the Bowden Investment Group (BIG), most of whom provided financial support to the Thompson Professorship.

The endowed professorship was established by alumni and friends to help Appalachian retain top future faculty who will advise the BIG.
