During the 2017 #iBackAPP Day, junior marketing major Blake Poppen was featured in a video, sharing how The Appalachian Fund has helped create transformational, educational experiences for him.
For the last three years, the Appalachian community has come together in the first week of May to show their pride and support for Appalachian by wearing their black and gold, spreading the word about #iBackAPP Day, and making a contribution to The Appalachian Fund.
Appalachian celebrated its 4th annual #iBackAPP Day on May 4, 2017.
Poppen is the business liaison for the Appalachian Ambassadors, and a member of the Reformed University Fellowship, Appalachian Video Football, and an Alternative Service Experience Peer Leader.
