Appalachian State University's Bowden Investment Group (BIG) recently published its August 2020 BIG Update, which includes a letter from the advisors — Dr. Brandy Hadley and Mr. Shawn Poole — as well as an introduction of the newest BIG members, a report from the COVID classroom and a portfolio analysis.
The newsletter was produced by BIG members Katie Cole, Olivia Guillebeau and Sean James.
Dr. Hadley, who has been involved with BIG over the last few years, said she is grateful to "for support and mentorship" from long-time BIG advisor Dr. Delbert Goff. Hadley and Poole took the reigns from Goff this year. "BIG would not be the premier program it is today if not for Dr. Goff's dedication over his career," she said.
