The Walker College of Business will host a Welcome Back to Walker reception in Peacock Hall on Appalachian State University's FDOC—first day of classes.

From 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to stop by the second floor of Peacock Hall and the Broyhill Commons and Boyles Lobby areas for free "Beans 2 Brew" coffee and whole fruit.
Events in the Walker College of Business
The Welcome Back to Walker Reception is the first of several special events hosted by the Walker College of Business designed to supplement the curriculum and create a well-connected community of learners at App State. Please refer to the events page for up-to-date information about events in the college, including:
- Business Club Expo and Business Career Services Winterfest on January 23.
- Cyber Summit on February 21.
- Walker Spring Connect on February 27.
- Shared Reading Program, Killers of the Flower Moon film screening on March 27.
- Shared Reading Program, Courageous Conversation, Indigenous Experiences, on April 7.
- The Boyles Lecture on March 21.
Additionally, the Walker College provides series of events designed to boost career, professional, leadership and entrepreneurial development. This semester, these include:
- The EDGE, a Center for Entrepreneurship program to help you learn "what it takes to gain a competitive advantage in your career and life", Mondays beginning February 3.
- Industry Nights, a Business Career Services program to help you learn "what it’s like to work in a particular industry," select Tuesdays in February.
