Walker College of Business alum Jesa McNeill-Valle ’17 was recently featured in Business North Carolina after being named Wilkes County’s new tourism director.
McNeill-Valle brings to the role extensive experience in rural tourism development, having previously worked with Tourism Works and UPLIFT NC to support destination marketing and visitor engagement efforts across North Carolina. In her new role, she will lead initiatives to promote Wilkes County and strengthen its growing tourism economy.
McNeill-Valle earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a minor in Spanish from App State in 2017.
