Prerequisite Course Review

Prerequisite courses can be waived if you've completed similar undergraduate courses with a grade of "B-" or better.

For review of past coursework, email unofficial transcripts from all colleges or universities attended to Dr. Neel Das (dasn@appstate.edu) and Cele Burt (burtcc@appstate.edu). Upon review, you will receive an email detailing which prerequisite courses, if any, are needed.

If Prerequisites are Not Met

There are two options to complete prerequisite courses not satisfied by prior academic work. Students can complete the online testing module or take the undergraduate class.

Complete Online Testing Module

The MBA program offers a self-paced, accelerated prerequisite program that can be completed in 20-40 hours per course. Prerequisite modules may be purchased for $175 per module.

Your payment includes three final exam attempts and the cost of a facilitator, who will coordinate with the software company on your behalf, help you study and prepare you for testing.

If you do not pass the third and final exam attempt, you are required to take the undergraduate-level version of the class and must have a minimum grade of "B- " to meet the prerequisite requirement.

All prerequisite purchases are non-refundable.
