Cherry, professor in the Department of Economics and director of the Center for Economic Research and Policy Analysis at Appalachian State, has been selected to be the Rasmuson Chair of Economics in the College of Business and Public Policy at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). Dr. Scott Hunsinger, an associate professor within Walker College's Department of Computer Information Systems, recently received a UNC Board of Governors Excellence in Teaching Award.
