Dr. H. Kristl Davison, an associate professor at Appalachian State University, has been named chair of the Department of Management in the Walker College of Business.
Davison joined App State’s faculty in 2018 and has served as assistant department chair for the past three years.
“Dr. Davison’s experience, integrity, and commitment to our students and her peers make her a great fit with the Walker College’s leadership team,” said Walker College of Business Dean Dr. Sandra Vannoy.
Davison is a past Sywassink Awardee for excellence in research and holds the Beroth Oil Partners in Excellence Professorship. Her research interests include personnel selection, personality, organizational justice and ethics.
She has taught courses in human resource management and compensation and co-advised App State’s student organization, the Society for Human Resource Management.
Davison earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from Tulane University.
