About Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS)
BGS is an international business honor society that, since 1913, has recognized and honored top-performing students from around the world in business schools accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). BGS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is dedicated to providing lifetime value for itsmembers by offering programs, connections, benefits, and opportunities to every individual within the organization.
Membership
AACSB accredits the top business schools worldwide. Of the students at those universities, BGS invites the following, assuring that BGS members belong to an organization synonymous with the highest standards of academic excellence.
- Top 10% of undergraduate students.
- Top 20% of graduate students.
- All doctoral business candidates who have successfully defended their dissertation.
Induction Ceremony
At App State, inductees are typically honored during the Student Honors Convocation.
