The Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University has introduced the 2023 cohort of the Holland Fellows Impact Exchange.
Ten App State business students were chosen after a vigorous selection process.
This year's action learning focus is on strategic innovation for a regional retailer. Fellows will spend the semester developing a sustainability agenda to generate value for a community client. In order to fully understand the regional and global business ecosystems, immersive trips broaden students' natural curiosity and professional exposure.
The 2023 program spans a spring semester with classroom and field work followed by a summer international experience in Vietnam and Cambodia. The core course content will introduce students to the process of designing sustainability agendas for retail and how the principles and frameworks can be applied to different global industries and the business of building a better world.
