Research projects from Walker College of Business faculty and students will be presented on Appalachian State University campus for the 2024 Walker College of Business Research Day on Thursday, November 14.
The Walker College Dean's Club has supported the faculty research, and the Barnes Student Research grants have supported the student research.
All students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to visit the Broyhill Commons in Peacock Hall between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to view the posters. The researchers will be periodically available to discuss their research.

External Grant Funding 101, 8:15-9:15am
Before the poster session, the college will host a special ‘Breakfast and Learn’ presentation from Dr. David Dickinson, Walker College of Business Research Excellence Professor, 8:15-9:15 a.m., in the Holland Engagement Room
Dickinson's talk, External Grant Funding 101, will offer advice for securing external funding. Registrants will be provided light snacks. Register online for the 'Breakfast and Learn' by November 11.

The Barnes Program Student Research Grants provide business students with up to $1000 in funding to engage in research with a faculty mentor outside of the normal classroom experience.
