The Watauga Democrat recently reported that Walker College professor of finance and banking Harry Davis has earned the 2016 Boone Area Chamber of Commerce's Wade Brown Award for Community Recognition.
The awards presentation was part of the 67th annual meeting, held at Tweetsie Railroad in Blowing Rock on Aug. 9. The Wade Brown Award was one of six presented by the chamber, all of which honored individuals and businesses that have positively impacted the community.
