AppRISE is an interdisciplinary, faculty-student initiative for applied research and consulting in the fields of risk management and policy analysis. Through real-world projects with businesses, nonprofits, and policymakers, students develop expertise in technical, policy, and innovation analysis. AppRISE projects have been featured at industry conferences and supported organizations, including Granite Insurance, Selective Insurance, and App State’s own risk management division, among others. Open to all majors, AppRISE offers hands-on experience, skill-building workshops, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
