Economics Professor delivers comments at University of Luxembourg's Institute for Health and Behavior

Walker College of Business Professor of Economics David Dickinson recently delivered comments at the University of Luxembourg's Institute for Health and Behavior. 

Info PosterDickinson explained that neuroscience findings have identified the importance of deliberative brain processes for social-decision making and that deliberative brain processes may be compromised as a result of adverse sleep or circadian states.

Dickinson's recent study determined that commonly experienced adverse sleep states, significantly reduce prosocial behaviors, and can limit benefits from short-term social interactions.
