Dr. Tracy Reed has been named associate dean for undergraduate programs and administration in the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University.
Effective January 5, 2021, Dr. Reed will take over the role as Dr. Dave McEvoy moves to chair the Department of Economics.
“I am pleased Dr. Reed will be joining our leadership team,” said Walker College of Business Acting Dean Sandra Vannoy. “Under her leadership, the college will maintain a forward-thinking, relevant undergraduate curriculum and support innovative teaching/learning practices as well as co-curricular activities that elevate student professional development and career readiness.”
In her new role, Dr. Reed will also oversee faculty qualifications, enrollment management, student scholarships and accreditation for the college.
