The HR Science Research Team visits Eastman Chemical Co.’s facility in Kingsport, Tennessee, in September 2018 to meet with their project collaborators. Appalachian is partnering with Watauga County Habitat for Humanity to build a home from the ground up, with groundbreaking scheduled for September. This is the first time the university has taken ownership of a project with Habitat. A build such as the one pictured here will be a reality soon.
