Accelerated Admissions

If you are a rising senior at App State with a 3.6 or higher GPA you can apply for the AA option. With this option, GRE or GMAT is not required for admission to MSADA or MBA. This option allows you to take graduate-level courses in the last semesters of your undergraduate program which may double count toward both your undergraduate and graduate degrees. You will have to discuss with your UG advisor and Graduate program advisor to ensure the classes can be double-counted.

Please see the MSADA-AA overview document or the MBA-AA overview document for more details.

If you prefer not to take graduate-level classes as a senior, you still have the option to apply for GRE/GMAT test waivers (see below).

GRE/GMAT Waiver

If you have a 3.5 or higher GPA from App State for the MSADA program, or a 3.6 or higher GPA from App State for the MBA program.

If you have a 3.0 or higher GPA (from any institution) and have five or more years of work or military experience.

If you are a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools.

* Students receiving a test waiver will be eligible for graduate assistantships and WCOB scholarships.  If you are applying for any competitive scholarships through the graduate school, a GRE/GMAT is required.
