Heather Dixon-Fowler has been named assistant chair of the Department of Management in the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University, effective July 1, 2017.  Dixon-Fowler joins Jacqui Bergman, who has served as department chair since 2012, and Maira Compagnone, who has served as administrative assistant since 2014, to complete the departmental administration.
