Justice Mapp

Marketing, Sales

Justice Mapp is a 2023 alumna of the Walker College of Business with a BSBA in Marketing with a concentration in Sales and two minors in Sociology and Non-Profit Organizations. While at Appalachian State University, she had the privilege to study abroad in Cuba (Spring 2023) and France (Summer 2022). Justice continues to grow her passion for global studies and shares the value of International experiences with other students. Read more.

 

 Molly Campillo

International Business and  Global Studies  

Molly Campillo is a 2021 alumna of the Walker College of Business with a double major in International Business and Global Studies and minor in Spanish. During her time at Appalachian State University, she had the privilege to study abroad in the Dominican Pubic, Spain, Tokyo, Ireland, and France. However, some of these International experiences were affected in  2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, Molly continues to grow her passion for global studies and shares the value of International experiences with other students.  Read more.

Megan Temple

Marketing, Digital Marketing

Megan Temple is  2022 alumna of the Walker College of Business with a BSBA in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing. During her time at Appalachian State University, she had the privilege to study abroad for a semester in Spring 2020 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, however, her time was cut short in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, Megan has persevered and encourages other students to pursue international experiences in a changing world.  Read more.

Laura Jean Harkleroad is a 2020 alumna of the Walker College of Business with a BSBA in International Business and Supply Chain Management. During her time at Appalachian State University, she has had the privilege to travel to more than 20 countries. She is currently President of the International Business Student Association and a member of International Appalachian. Read more.

International Graduate  Training Program Participant, Volvo Group 

 Rena Hooker is an alumna of the Walker College of Business who graduated in Spring 2018 with a Master's in Business Administration with a Business Analytics Concentration. She completed her BSBA in 2017 with a major in Finance and Banking. While an undergraduate, she participated in the Holland Fellows Program.  She was chosen for the International Graduate Program with Volvo Group which she joined May 2019.  Read more.

Natacha Lafleur

Economics MBA Student

Natacha Lafleur is an MBA exchange student from The AngersUniversity in France. Her school offered many partnerships but as her major is in Marketing she  wanted to study in THE most well known country for it's marketing expertise.  She looked at the different options that where offered and found out that 3 of the 5 U.S. Universities that are in partnership with Angers where offering a similar program to what she would have been learning if she had stayed in France. When Sophia Montesclaros left America in 2015 for her international internship, she was an aspiring ASU graduate and a hardworking student. When she returned, Sophia’s international and business experiences made her an ideal candidate and helped her get a position with an international supply chain company.  Sophia graduated from Appalachian as an International Business major in May 2015.
